Social Media Ninja and Events Master Coordinator

Are you a creative storyteller who loves bringing people together for a great cause? We are looking for an energetic, multi-talented Events & Social Media Coordinator! In this hybrid role, you will design impactful community experiences and amplify our mission across digital platforms. You will be the face, voice, and heart of our organization both online and in person.What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
  • Plan Impactful Events: Brainstorm and execute creative concepts for fundraisers, community galas, donor appreciation events, and volunteer mixers.
  • Own the Logistics: Manage event budgets, secure venues, coordinate vendors, track RSVPs, and oversee flawless day-of execution.
  • Drive Digital Strategy: Create, schedule, and manage a vibrant content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Capture the Moment: Attend events to capture high-quality photos, videos, and live stories that showcase our community impact in real time.
  • Engage the Community: Respond to comments, messages, and mentions to build authentic online relationships with donors and volunteers.
  • Analyze & Grow: Track monthly social media metrics to see what content resonates best and adjust strategy to grow our digital audience.
Who You Are (Qualifications & Skills)
  • The Experience: 2+ years of experience blending event planning, hospitality, social media coordination, or content creation.
  • The Creative Eye: Skilled in mobile photography, video editing (CapCut, Reels, TikTok), and graphic design tools like Canva.
  • The Mindset: Enthusiastic, highly resourceful, and deeply passionate about making a positive difference in the community.
  • The Toolkit: Comfortable with social media scheduling tools (like Buffer or Hootsuite) and standard event or donor databases.
  • The Superpower: Exceptional people skills with the ability to pivot quickly and solve problems on the fly with a smile.
