Good Cheer in the 1970s I Ibought 4 hand made quilts that day for Christmas presents for our children. I also bought the first Whidbey Island Recipe specialties cook book from the Good Cheer Store. I still use it, and have in the past, met several of the people who gave their recipes for the book. " the pie crust recipe from Chrissy Burrier is the best ever!' I would love to be able to buy another "older cook book" to give to my daughter, as I just can't part with mine, it's like a 'old best friend' for me.
