Welcome to Whidbey’s Nonprofit Directory

This directory is a free community resource created by the Whidbey Community Foundation to connect residents and donors with the many organizations serving our island. Inclusion does not imply endorsement or funding, and not all organizations listed are WCF grantees. We strive to keep information current and accurate. For updates, additions, or questions, please contact us at [email protected] or (360) 660-5041.

Whidbey Weavers Guild

Whidbey Weavers Guild

Weavers and those interested in the allied areas of spinning, felting, dyeing, surface design, and basketry will find a welcoming environment at the Whidbey Weavers Guild.

Check out All Events for upcoming Guild activities. You are encouraged to attend our monthly first Thursday meetings held in Coupeville and meet some of Whidbey’s most creative fiber artists.

With a membership of over 170, the Guild is a blend of fiber enthusiasts of varying experience, as well as renowned fiber artists. The Guild provides educational opportunities through speakers, workshops, study groups, our lending library, and independent study grants to further members’ education in the fiber arts. The annual Uncommon Threads sale in early November gives members an opportunity to show and sell their fiber creations. Our annual Spin-In brings together spinners, a keynote speaker, and workshop, plus fiber-related vendors in early spring.
