Welcome to the North Puget Sound Dragon Boat Club, the Premiere Dragon Boat Club on beautiful Whidbey Island. The NPS Dragon Boat Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
Membership is open to the public. Our mission is to promote the physical, social, and emotional benefits of dragon boating. While this sport developed in this country because of its benefits for breast cancer survivors, our club welcomes paddlers of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels. Our members come from all over the North Puget Sound area, including Mount Vernon, Bellingham, Anacortes, Camano and Whidbey Island. They come for fun, fitness and friendship.
We have two teams to welcome you, whether you are looking for recreational time on the water, and/or a more strenuous workout. During the season, our boats, the Blue Heron and Dragonfly, go out for practice 5-6 times per week from the Oak Harbor Marina next to the boat launching dock.
