Welcome to Whidbey’s Nonprofit Directory

This directory is a free community resource created by the Whidbey Community Foundation to connect residents and donors with the many organizations serving our island. Inclusion does not imply endorsement or funding, and not all organizations listed are WCF grantees. We strive to keep information current and accurate. For updates, additions, or questions, please contact us at [email protected] or (360) 660-5041.

Empowering lives through the power of horses

HOPE is a Whidbey Island nonprofit offering therapeutic, equine-assisted activities for children and adults facing mental, emotional, physical, developmental, or behavioral challenges — including autism, anxiety, PTSD, cerebral palsy, and ADHD. Through grooming, groundwork, and riding, participants build confidence, communication skills, coordination, and emotional resilience while forming meaningful relationships with horses. Each session is personalized to complement individual clinical or educational goals. We welcome riders from Whidbey and beyond, and 85% receive scholarship support so cost is never a barrier.
