Civility First (CF) is a non-profit that promotes and teaches courteous public and online dialogue. We want the voices, values, and opinions of all citizens to be heard. We assert that being heard, hearing others, and solving problems together will not happen without respectful listening. Civility First teaches techniques for listening with curiosity instead of judgment. We train people in speaking to be heard and initiating tricky discussions.
