Welcome to Whidbey’s Nonprofit Directory

This directory is a free community resource created by the Whidbey Community Foundation to connect residents and donors with the many organizations serving our island. Inclusion does not imply endorsement or funding, and not all organizations listed are WCF grantees. We strive to keep information current and accurate. For updates, additions, or questions, please contact us at [email protected] or (360) 660-5041.

All-Island Community Band

All-Island Community Band

All-Island Community Band on Whidbey Island, Washington established in 1966.

The All-Island Community is an all-volunteer organization that plays for local events including festivals, fundraisers, parades, Fourth of July, and Holland Happenings. In December, the band plays carols at retirement facilities, non-profits, and other venues around Oak Harbor and Coupeville. All band instruments welcome: flute, oboe, clarinet, sax family, trumpet/cornet, F horn, baritone (treble and bass clef), trombone, tuba, string bass, percussion.

Membership is free. There are no auditions to join. It is helpful to have concert band/orchestra experience. Your experience does not have to be recent. The band includes all skill levels even if you have not played for a while, you are welcome.

The band meets from mid-September to Memorial Day on Thursdays, 6:30-8 PM. Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, the band plays summer outdoor concerts at locations in the Oak Harbor and Coupeville area. Performance dates, times, and locations are listed on this site, our Facebook page (Whidbey All-Island Community Band), and published in the Whidbey New-Times community on-line calendar. Please join us.
